We’re calling on our supporters to take part in a special Birthday Bake 4 Bairns! As our 130th Anniversary year comes to an end we’re asking you to join in the celebrations with your very own fundraising birthday bakes!
How did I take part?
There are different ways you can take part in our birthday bake off…
Hold a Birthday Bake 4 Bairns fundraiser:
Who doesn’t love a bake sale? Set up a sale in your work, garden or community to rise money for our work. If you can’t be on hand to sell your goodies, you could always leave a donation pot for people to leave a voluntary contribution. There are lots of printable branded resources (including cupcake flags!) you can access through our Fundraizing Hero profile.
Simply bake and donate:
Whether you get together with family and friends for some baking banter or tackling a solo sponge, enjoy your bake and then show your support for your work with a donation. You can donate your £5 by texting BAKE to 70480 (texts cost £5 plus your standard message rate) or via our Donate page.
Join Bake 4 Bairns on social media.
Don’t forget to share your bake! Whatever you choose to do, don’t forget to share a picture and/or recipe of your creation with us on social media using the #Bake4Bairns and we’ll be sharing our favourite bakes with our followers!
“I’ve been a long-time supporter of Children North East and I’m delighted to be involved in their Bake4Bairns Challenge. It’s important, particularly now in the environment we’re in, to get involved because small acts of kindness make a huge difference to families in need.” Si King, The Hairy Bikers
