DESCRIPTION:Christmas Tree Collection 2027\n\n\nWe’re delighted to be partnering with Credera once again as part of the Just Helping Christmas Tree Collection campaign. \nAfter a fantastic first year that raised £2\,500 for Children North East\, we’re back for year two and aiming to make an even bigger impact. This January\, our goal is to collect 250 Christmas trees and double the amount raised\, helping us support even more children\, young people and families across the North East. \nBy registering your tree for collection\, you’ll not only save yourself a trip to the recycling centre\, you’ll also help raise vital funds for local babies\, children and families who need our support. \nWhat is the Christmas Tree Collection?\nThe Christmas Tree Collection is part of a nationwide initiative led by Just Helping\, a charity that brings together businesses\, charities and volunteers to make a difference in their local communities. \nOur team of volunteers will collect your real Christmas tree from your doorstep and ensure it’s responsibly recycled\, all in exchange for a donation to Children North East. \nIt’s a simple way to dispose of your tree after Christmas while supporting a great cause. \nHow to Register\n\nClick the button below\nSearch for your postcode\nEnter your details\nMake a donation\nWe’ll collect your tree directly from your home on 7th or 8th January\n\nRegister your tree here \nEvent Details\nRegistration closes: 3 January 2027 \nCollection dates: 7 & 8 January 2027 \nAreas covered: NE1-7\, NE12\, NE13\, NE15\, NE23-30 and NE61-63 \nThe suggested donation is £20 per tree\, but there is no minimum donation. Please give whatever you can. \nThe Difference Your Donation Makes\nEvery tree collected helps local children\, young people and families access the support they need to thrive. \n\n£35 could provide a counselling session for a child who has experienced abuse.\n£21 could help a child and their family attend a session focused on cooking and enjoying a nutritious hot meal together.\n£80 could provide a year of monthly peer support sessions for a neurodiverse young person.\n\nEvery pound donated helps create brighter futures\, providing support\, hope and opportunities for children and families across the North East. \nHelp us reach our goal\n250 trees.
