Baby and toddler groups are a great place to meet other parents and carers with children your child’s age. We organise a range of activities every week in our families centre at Cowgate Centre, Houghton Avenue, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 3UT.

Stay & Play
A fun-filled morning for under 3s, including a range of sensory activities. A great opportunity to meet other local families! No booking required. Under 2s: 09:30 to 11:00 Every Tuesday. Under 5s 09:30 to 11:00 Every Thursday during Term Time.
First Words Together
A short play session for under 2s to learn to talk and communicate. All children get 5 free toddler books for participating. Booking required by phone or email.
Boogie Bairns
A singing and dancing session for under 2s and a great opportunity to meet other families in the local area. Booking required by phone or email. 10:00 - 11:00 Every Monday (Term Time only)
My Storytime Adventure
Come and hear your favourite books brought to life through an engaging read-along for preschool-age kids, designed to be relaxed and fun! 10:00 - 10:45 Every Friday (Term Time only)
