Walk with Children North East
About the Walk
Join us for a walk along the coastline of Whitley Bay and Tynemouth in solidarity with local babies, children, young people and families; raising funds for essential services and raising awareness about the issues impacting them.
In 1891, Children North East began its story at the beach, as its Founders took children living in poverty in Newcastle City Centre to the coast for a day of food, fun and fresh air. 134 years later, we work with over 4,500 people annually, providing much needed support towards improving mental health, alleviating poverty, helping families in crisis and giving young people the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
The event is perfect for families, friends, groups of colleagues and community members who want to make a difference in the lives of children in our region.
