Masquer-Aid Support Groups
Masquer-Aid is a peer support group for people who have recently found out they are neurodifferent or are waiting for a diagnosis. We talk about shared experiences, learn about life and have fun too. Aimed at 11 to 25 year olds, our groups are led by you and what you need. Our 1-2-1 support can be a space to build your confidence and self-awareness or get help with your mental health. Our peer support groups where you have the chance to learn from others like you.

What can you expect in the group?
In our groups, we will talk together or communicate in your preferred way. We play games and do activities. The workers are there to offer advice and support. We might choose a themed activity based on the issues you are facing. Everyone has space to share their interests or their ideas of what helps them. It is a space to have fun and make friends if you want to.
Where do the groups meet?
We have bases in Newcastle and Gateshead. We use youth project locations which are friendly and welcoming to all. We can support with travel if getting to the meetings is a challenge for you or your family.
