Join us for the Gleeds Dip & Sip 2026, returning for its third year with a brand new setting at Longsands Beach, Tynemouth. Taking place on Friday 4th December, this unique festive fundraiser invites you to step out of your comfort zone and make a real difference for children and young people across the North East.
The Challenge
Take the plunge into the chilly winter sea alongside colleagues and fellow fundraisers. Whether you go ankle-deep or all-in, every splash helps raise vital funds for babies, children and families who need it most.
The Reward
Warm up in style after your dip!
For another year running, you can enjoy the ultimate post-dip treat:
- A relaxing beachside sauna session with Steam and Salt
- A well-earned glass of fizz on the shore
- Followed by festive fundraising activities on the sand!
Optional fancy dress encouraged!

It’s free to take part, but we’re asking each participant to aim to raise at least £50 in sponsorship.
Every pound helps Children North East continue their life-changing work supporting local families.
