Sexual Health Services

Our team are here if you’re aged 11 to 25 and…

… have questions about sex.

… need access to contraception and STI testing.

… want to speak to someone confidentially about your health and wellbeing related to anything from pregnancy to pressures to pornography.

If the above sounds like you, you’re not alone. Our service will work with over 4,000 young people this year from Newcastle alone.

Children North East works to deliver a wide variety of sexual health services across Newcastle, championing the health and emotional wellbeing of young people. We combine traditional services like access to contraception and STI checks with free confidential advice and support on challenges such as pregnancy decision making, respect and consent, and period poverty.

When you’re young, navigating sexual health and healthy relationships can feel complicated, so we’ve tried to make it simple with our services that fit into your day-to-day life:

Sexual Health Advice Drop-In Sessions

Free, confidential, impartial advice from our friendly teams for 13 – 25 year olds. We offer a safe space where you can ask questions about sexual health, relationships or just have a chat! Click the image above to find out where we'll be!

Tailored Sessions

We understand that some groups of young people may want sexual health support that explores specific needs and/or is delivered in a space that feels safe to them. We can provide tailored sessions for certain groups, such as LGBTQ+ communities, those with disabilities or from specific cultural backgrounds. Get in touch to organise a tailored session.

Education Organisations

If you're a school or college that would benefit from one of outreach sessions, get in touch! We have experience working across a range of settings and are happy to work with the faculty to ensure a safe, welcoming space for your students.
