The Big Hike, Hadrian’s Wall Challenge (Sunday Tickets Sold Out!)
Step into history and nature with a 20 km walk along one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks! You’ll be part of a strong group of fundraisers walking from Walltown to Housesteads, all to give babies, children and young people and happy, healthy start in life.
Highlights of the Walk:
- Walltown Country Park – Start your journey surrounded by beautiful scenery.
- Cawfields – Reach the highest point on the Wall at an impressive 1000ft.
- The Sill – Experience this award-winning landscape discovery center.
- Sycamore Gap – Pay your respects at the site where the most famous trees in Britain stood.
- Housesteads – End your adventure at this stunning Roman fort.
You’ll enjoy manned refreshment checkpoints along the route, with support from the North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team ensuring your safety. Plus, transport back to the starting point once you complete the walk!
You can take part on either Saturday 16th or the Sunday 17th of May – spaces are limited so make sure to secure your tickets fast!
