Voices of Hope 2024

For the second year in a row, Children North East are excited to welcome back the Voice of Hope Awards. Held in Newcastle, these awards give us a chance to thank and congratulate the amazing young people we work with every day and show them how much we appreciate not only their hard work but how proud we are of what they have achieved on their own.

Since 1891, Children North East have worked with thousands of babies, children and young people to give them the best start in life. Our goal has always been to provide people with the building blocks in their early lives to allow them to thrive later on by creating a support system that enables them to be more resilient and confident.

Alongside a host of other local organisations, Children North East will recognise the unique impact of the children and young people we work with across our services and give nominees and winners a platform to share their wonderful achievements.

“Hearing the young people share how passionate they are about making a difference for others was inspiring. The Voices of Hope Awards has created a cohort of role models that will inspire other young people that they can create a better world with their voice and their actions. Growing up can be hard, but the young people recognised by awards are doing something very special by making life a little brighter for others.”  Leigh Elliott, CEO
