ROSES Domestic Abuse Support Group

If you have experienced Domestic Abuse, it can take time to find your feet and deal with the emotions you are experiencing. We recognise it has taken courage to end the relationship, we don’t want you to feel you have to continue your journey alone.
What is ROSES?
ROSES stands for ‘Recovery of Survivors Emotional Support’. It is a weekly drop-in session for victim/survivors of domestic abuse. It is a safe space for you to come together with others who have shared experiences. In the group, people have the opportunity to share their successes or challenges they are facing and can access advice from our experienced family support team, if they wish too.
Building a support network of people who understand what you have gone through can be really helpful as you take your next steps. ROSES aims to create a supported space to build connections with other victim/survivors. We recognise that other victim/survivors of abuse are often best placed to share ways they dealt with challenges and empathise with what you are feeling.
We offer wellbeing sessions, one to one support, information and signposting. We also laugh together and talk about the things that make us smile.
Who is ROSES for?
ROSES is for female survivors of domestic abuse as long as they are no longer in a relationship with the perpetrator and the perpetrator does not live with them.
